SD (Secure Digital) is a further development of the MMC standard. Offering a more open solution, its slim compact design promotes easy handling. Used in digital cameras, mobile phones, PDAs and other digital devices, SD cards are growing in popularity and are supported by increasing numbers of digital equipment. SD cards are available in optimum performance (80x) or high performance (133x and 150x).
